The Oriental aesthetics of the neo-Chinese style demonstrates a mellow spirit of Chinese traditional culture and art. A space with such a style is a realm of elegance, tranquility and wisdom; the details also create an elegant atmosphere. These features remind me of the biography Zeng Guofan written by Tan Haoming (Zeng Guofan was a Chinese statesman and military general of the late Qing dynasty). The idea of "Chinese power" flowed in my mind and I was enlightened after I read the book:

   The creation of architectural beauties cannot rely on restoring ancient ways completely.

   Naturally, being totally unorthodox is also not desirable, either.

   The key is to combine tradition with modernity.

   Then we can realize the harmonious interweaving of architecture with the city, nature and people.
